Established in 2003, the Genomics Research Center (GRC) has established critical facilities for cell biology and biomedical technology development, including mass spectrometer proteomic facility, NMR and X-ray facility for structure determination, microarray and high throughput genome sequencer for genomic research, cell sorter and microscopy for cell biology, and phytotron for agricultural biotechnology. The major focus of GRC’s research is on the understanding of genes associated with diseases and their functions. Through new discoveries, new diagnosis tools and new therapeutic strategies are expected to be developed.
